Ted Armstrong worked with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources as a wildlife biologist throughout his career. Although he was never stationed in the lowlands, he was fortunate to be able to travel to, work in, and fly over the area many times. During this illustrated talk, Ted will discuss some of the various monitoring and research projects that he worked on over the past several decades on a variety of wildlife species, especially waterfowl and caribou. He will also discuss some of the threats facing this globally significant wetland.
