Sleeping Giant Provincial Park Cleanup

Adopt-A-Road Sleeping Giant Provincial Park

Thunder Bay Field Naturalists have long adopted a 4km stretch of Hwy 587 leading into and through Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.  Our stretch is from from the area near Joe Boy Creek, past Rita Lake towards the park gate. Clean-ups are generally done on a weekday in June, mid-summer, and again in the fall. To volunteer to help contact Marian Childs by clicking here or phoning her at 577-1324.

Thanks to all for keeping our wild spaces clean!
