Voyageurs National Park Presentation with Dr. Steve Windels

Doors open at 4:30 pm with dinner at 5:45 pm.

Join us for socializing, dinner and a thought-provoking presentation.

Dr. Steve Windels has worked as a wildlife biologist at Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota since 2003, where he oversees wildlife monitoring, management, and research for the park. He has studied many components of the southern boreal forest ecosystem including beavers, muskrats, grey wolves, moose, bald eagles and common loons. Dr. Steve Windels was recently honoured with the 2023 Distinguished Moose Biologist Award at the 55th North American Moose Conference and Workshop. Steve will share stories of the amazing wildlife he has observed over these 20 years.

Please plan to join the Thunder Bay Field Naturalists at the Annual Dinner on Sunday, February 25th at the Current River Recreation Centre as we celebrate our 90th anniversary.
