Field Trip – Birding at Chippewa Park with Ontario Field Ornithologists *** This Outing is now Full ***

On May 11, join expert birder Nick Escott on this joint field trip offered by the Ontario Field Ornithologists and Thunder Bay Field Naturalists. We will meet at the Chippewa beach parking lot at 8:00 am. Our route will consist of easy walking on level trails, for up to 5 km with frequent birding stops.

Bring lunch/snacks and a drink. After lunch at Chippewa, we will drive to Mission Island and bird there until 3:00 pm for those interested in the extension. Expect spring migrants including waterfowl and passerines. Dress warmly. We will cancel if there is steady rain. Note that ticks will be abundant.

This trip is limited to 6 TBFN participants.
