Sunday October 24th 10:15 am to 4:00 pm (Hike 11-3:30) Rain date Sunday, November 7th.
Explore the new Nature Conservancy of Canada trail with Rob Foster taking place in the beautiful municipality of Neebing. This large mesa overlooks the Pearson Wetlands and is a designated conservation reserve. The trail starts with a difficult 210 m (.21 kilometers) climb up a rocky cliff to the top of the mesa that has a 5 km moderate loop trail (There is an option to just do a portion of this upper trail overlooking the wetland.) Bring lunch.
Meet at 10:15 at Movati, Arthur St for 35 min travel to the parking lot at trail head. Hike begins from trailhead at 11. Travel south on Hwy 61 to Hwy 608 turning onto Hwy 597 with trail head just past Moore’s Creek.
