Come take a closer look at an underwater world full of alien-like creatures! Guest leader Nancy Serediak will take us on a journey into the world of freshwater macro-invertebrates. We will net for these tiny critters in the McIntyre River at Lakehead University, practice identifying what we find, and start thinking about the roles different inverts play in their ecosystems and what these bioindicators tell us about the health of their environment.

Bring your rubber boots and get ready to get your hands wet!

Personal distances of 2 m should be kept whenever possible.
Masks are to be worn inside unless there is a personal or medical reason for not doing so.
Masks are optional outside as long as personal distancing can be maintained. Everyone should have a mask ready for use in case it is needed.
