This is a joint field trip outing with the Ontario Field Ornithologists and Thunder Bay Field Naturalists. Nick Escott will be leading this event.
Meet at the old gas bar at County Fair at 6:30 am. Please carpool, we will drive an hour north up Hwy 17 and look for breeding birds of the boreal forest along a logging road, flat walking. No bathroom facilities! Bring lunch and drinks. Hope to be back to Thunder Bay mid-afternoon. We will drive and stop to walk in a few places when we stop, but not much walking.
