Annual Dinner ***CANCELLED***

0, February 27, 2022 @ 4:30 PM 9:00 PM

It is with great regret that I am announcing the cancellation of the February 27th annual TBFN Dinner.  It was an agonizing decision for the Board of Directors. We will instead be hosting a general members meeting February 28th . Details will be posted when available. The February 28th general meeting will be using the Zoom Platform.

Many tickets for the banquet have been sold. Some were sold in person, and some were sold online.  Therefore, some tickets are in the possession of the purchaser and some are being held for pick up at the door. We want to keep the process of refunds as administratively simple as possible. We will be offering a refund of the ticket price ($35.00) to everyone who purchased a ticket. We are hoping to issue refunds prior to the end of January.

This is what will happen:

If you have ordered tickets online and paid using a credit card or Paypal, your ticket purchase price will be refunded. A record of the transaction will be communicated to you and to the Club Treasurer.

If you paid by either cash or cheque, we will provide a refund directly by issuing a cheque and mailing it to you based on the information on your receipt and the mailing address in our membership records.

If you have any questions, please contact me. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Gerry Racey, President

Thunder Bay Field Naturalists

Join us for socializing, dinner and a thought-provoking presentation.

We are pleased to announce that the speakers have been confirmed. A presentation will be made by Brian Ratcliff, Allan Gilbert and Susan Craig, entitled “The Rhythm of Birding in Thunder Bay District”. The presentation, in play form, will tell how birders engage in their passion through the seasons, with humorous stories about the 2021 Brian Moore Trophy competition. A slideshow will accompany this passionate camaraderie of our local Thunder Bay birders.

The TBFN Annual Dinner Meeting will be at the Current River Community Centre on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Symposium 4:30 pm,  Supper 5:45 pm. There will be a silent auction and a cash bar (cash only).
