The TBFN Annual Dinner Meeting will be at the Current River Community Centre on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Symposium 4:30 pm,  Supper 5:45 pm. Vegetarian options are available.  

Representatives from the City of Thunder Bay and the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority will bring us up to date on exciting plans for the Thunder Bay Waterfront Trail. The proposed trail will provide a link from the Current River Greenway to Mission Marsh. The speakers will describe the routes and side trails and how they will provide wildlife habitat and access to the Lake Superior and Kaministiquia River shorelines. Habitat projects, some currently underway, include development, protection and enhancement of wetlands, shorelines and backshore areas using native plants, stormwater control and reduction of invasive species.
